Project Life - Christmas Week 2016 w/ a Video

Happy Thursday!! Today I am up with my last Design Team project with Noel Mignon. I was blessed to be on Noel's team for the past 18 month, and work with some talented, amazing ladies.

First up is my process

This weeks Design Team Challenge is "Decem-Brr" - use something icy - a snowflake, vellum, glitter etc. I chose too use my stickles for a touch of icy glitter.

Because this was Christmas week, I had so many photos that I wanted to document. I decided that this week needed an extra page. I chose a Design F page protector from Becky Higgins, and cut off the 3x4 pockets on right side of the page. I then stitched on some of the gorgeous ribbon included in this months kit

Here is a picture of this week, without the insert

and here are some close ups

I used some of the ends of this months ribbon, and stapled to the tops of a few cards.

Here is a close up of the insert

I added a few tags from my gifts to this pocket page. Its always fun too look back on the kids handwriting!

Thanks Noel for having me on the team for the past year and a half! I am so thankful to be a part of such an awesome kit and community!

Project Life Week 48 2016 and a Video

Today I have a Week 48 of my project life to share with you along with a process video.

For this week, I used up some leftovers from my Noel Mignon "Oh What Fun" kit, along with some older supplies from my stash

I raided my stash of alpha stickers, and tried to make a dent in some of the packs! I either glued them or stitched them on because some of them were old and were loosing their stick.

I have been hoarding that Merry & Bright wood veneer card forever! I used a star die cut I had laying around, and used my tiny attacher to staple it on.

And here are some close up photos

Project Life Wk 51 with a Video

Happy Thursday! Today I am up with Week 51 of my Project Life 2016 and a process video

For this project I used the Noel Mignon "Oh What Fun!" Daily Diary Kit. This kit is packed full of Christmas goodies!

Here is a photo of what my spread looks like with an insert I added for this week. My youngest son made us a Christmas card at school, and I wanted to include it this week. I placed it in a 8.5x11 page protector, then stitched on some ribbon from my stash.

This weeks Design Team Challenge is "All The Trimmings" - use 3 embellishments on your project.

I used more than 3.... oops! I just could stop adding all the fun things Noel put in this kit. Some of my top 3 that I used on this weeks layout are

- Stickers
- Wood Veneer
- Labels

Thanks for stopping by!

Project Life Week 50 2016 and a Video

Happy Thursday!!! Today I am up with a new Project Life Spread with a Process Video using the Noel Mignon Oh What Fun! Daily Diary Kit.

This weeks Design Teams challenge is "Wrap it Up" - use both Washi Tape and Ribbon on your project.

I used Washi on my christmas tree photo, and I used ribbon along the edge of my page, that I machine stitched on. I love the texture it adds to my project!

I love all the bits and pieces in this months kit! The gold numbers are my favourite! I also loved the snowflake acetate overlay, that I placed over my weather radar photo!

Project Life Wk 49 with a Process Video

Happy Thursday! Today I have a Process Video using the Oh What Fun Daily Diary Kit by Noel Mignon!

This weeks Design Teams Challenge was "Plaid Tidings" - use plaid on your project! I chose to use the plaid washi from this months kit!

as usual I have lots of artwork from the boys that I included.

I cut Liams art in half, then trimmed it up to fit into some 8.5x11 page protectors.

This week was super busy and I had lots of photos to include

I love the colour scheme of this months kit! Red, Green, Pink, Aqua... sigh...

Here are a few close up photos.

Project Life Week 46 2016 with a Process Video

Happy Thursday! I am up today with a Week 46 of my Project Life combining what is left of my Noel Mignon Falloween & All Fall Daily Diary Kits!!

here is the process video

This weeks Design Team Challenge was a "Recipe Challenge" - to use the following
* 1 sheet of Cardstock
* 2 Alphas
* 3 Photos
* 4 Pattern Papers
* 5 Embellishments

I loosely played with this challenge.. For the Cardstock & Pattern Papers, I just used my journal cards. For the Alphas, I used the Simple Stories alpha stickers, and I fussy cut out the word FALL from a Simple Stories card. For the 5 embellishments I used 1)stickers, 2)enamel dots, 3) flair, 4) bobby pin/clips, 5) buttons. There was no way I could only use 3 photos, so instead my take on it is 3 vintage family photos.

Here are some close up photos
