Your So Sweet, Like Cherry Pie

So maybe one day I'll scrapbook photos of Liam, but I keep finding ones of Noah that are already printed! (Bad Mom, I know!).  Anyway, here is another photo of Noah from 2009 when he was 10 months old.  He looks so sweet and innocent in this photo (Ha! we know the truth though! lol!) I love the bright colours of the this layout! I used Studio Calicos Field Guide Kit for this.

You Are

You Are...Adorable sweet Noah! This photo was taken back in July of 2009 when you were 10 months old.  Look at how cute you are, with those big brown puppy dog eyes!

This layout was made using Studio Calico's Field Guide Kit for this one.  Once again I used my Mister Hueys White and dipped my paint brush in to paint the swirls around the butterflies. (I probably should stop that, because its starting to show up in a lot of my layouts!)

Other Supplies Used
- Martha Stewart 3 in 1 Butterfly Punch
- Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Pumice Stone
- Glue Art Glue Glider Pro Gun

Beautiful Tulip

Here is another quick layout I did using Studio Calicos Field Guide Kit. I love how the colours of this layout pop off the black background.  I used my Mister Hueys White and dipped my paint brush in and made the swirls for the butterflies. Let me know what you think!

Always Together

Always Together, that is Noah & his Ugly Dolls.  We have so many of them, 12 to be exact, but only one holds a special place in his heart, and that is the teal one (Ice Bat) aka "Baby" who is front and center.  We have had to go out and purchase 4 of those ones in fear that we loose one or one falls apart! And let me tell you they are hard to find!  The original I purchase at Chapters Bookstore while I was still pregnant for him, the next two we purchase when he was about 6 months old off ebay, and finally the fourth we found at the Duty Free Store at the Amabassador Bridge in Detroit while coming home from a trip!  And only one person is allowed to wash them, and that is Meemaw ( my mom, he couldn't say grandma so thats what stuck! ).  Last week Meemaw had to sew the ears on one of them, because they are starting to get holes from rubbing them. My sweet Noah & his Baby!

Stocking Garland Altered Project

This is a project I've made for an upcoming class that I am teaching at my LSS Papercraft Cafe.  I used the new Kaisercraft Stocking Garland with the new Echo Park Seasons Greetings Collection. I loved working on this project.

I inked the edges of the stocking with Tim Holtz Distress Inks and made the scalloped border by embossing a sheet of white cardstock with my Cuttlebug then used a punch to make the scalloped circles.  I'd love to know what you think!

Backyard Picnic

This is an older photo I came across, and smiled as soon as I saw it.  What a fun day that was!  Clay and I were busy doing yard work all day long.  We spread a sleeping bag out, and piled it with toys to occupy Noah, while we got to work.  When we finally stopped for lunch, we decided to have a "picnic" with Noah! I made this layout using Studio Calico's Glee kit

Other Supplies
Tim Holtz - Tiny Attacher
Martha Stewart - 3 in 1 Butterfly Punch

November Cards

So I'm not a card maker by any stretch of the imagination! But I decided to sit down and make some cards for upcoming special days in November.  I have to say, once my hubby took the kids downstairs to work on helicopters & airplanes and I was left alone to create.  Here are the cards I made (and please, let me know what you think! I'd love to hear your thoughts!)

Love

I made this layout for a challenge that Ursula came up with over at Studio Calico.  The idea was to come up with a layout using 10+ eyelets.  I used Studio Calico's kit - Glee.  I had so much fun creating this project - all the colours & patterns and bits & baubles!
