Monster Jam

Here is a layout I created last month for Come On Get Crafty, that I haven't posted here yet.  The challenge was to mix old & new products together and here is what I came up with.

My 40th

Today I wanted to share with you a layout I made about my 40th birthday a few months ago.  The pictures not the best, but it was the only one I had, and I really wanted to document this day. I used Gesso, Mist Inks, Gold Glitter Acrylic Paint and Gold Acrylic Paint for my background.

Sephora

Happy Monday! Today I wanted to share with you, a layout I created this morning.  Last week I went to Sephora and picked up some new makeup.  I thought it would be fun to document the makeup I used, and to incorporate the shopping bag on to the layout too!

April Sketch

Today I want to share with you the sketch
I created for Come On Get Crafty!
And here is my take on the sketch.

I added lots of strips of Crepe Paper and Vellum for texture.

lots of chipboard and stamping....
my layout would not be complete with out some ink splatters, gems and stitching :)

You can see the rest of the COGC Design Teams work HERE

And you can find the gorgeous Maggie Holmes vellum I use in the COGC Shop HERE

Scavenger Hunt

Let me start off by apologizing for neglecting my blog.... life just got in the way.  I have been busy scrapbook lots & lots of layouts though! Over the next little bit I be posting photo heavy posts showing them all to you!

Here is a layout I created this past weekend using only selected products that were on my desk!
Thank goodness for my hot glue gun and sewing machine.  They work perfect, holding all these layers together!

Mix & Match Maggie Holmes Collections

Today I want to share with you a layout I created using just Maggie Holmes products from the Open Book Collection & the Flea Market Collection.  I love how these 2 collections work so well together!
I used a page from my 6x6 paper pad, that was all "book spines" and cut them apart.  Next I used hot glue to adhere them, then lifted the edges of each strip to give the layout some dimension. I also used the Open Book Dies to cut out that gorgeous dear head!
Next I layered lots of stickers, labels & floral ephemera
I used the Floral Embossing Folder on the white cardstock, and I used the Die's again to cut out the title.
I love mix & matching collections from the same companies!
