Step Right Up And See My Favorite Date

Today I am up with 2 new layouts that I made this week
On this layout I splattered the background using Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Tinsel & Tropicana Teal.  I added some Basic Grey Enamel Dots & My Minds Eye Jewels

The Flair is from The Paper Bakery and the man is a journal card from October Afternoon's Midway Collection. I cut part of his arm and head out using my Xacto knife so that I could slide the corner of my picture in to it

Here you can see that my photo and the layered cards under it have been lifted off the page using foam dots.
You can also see that the paper strips on the background are lifted also.. to do that I used adhesive down the center that used my fingers to lift the bottom edge up.

I cut out the clouds from a journal card from the October Afternoon Sidewalks Collection.  The "Step Right Up" was also cut out of another journal card from the October Afternoon Midway Collection.  I put adhesive tape on the top half of the cloud, and a foam dot on the bottom half, so that is just popped up a bit.

This was a layout I did for some girls on Instagram.  They asked me to do a step by step layout from beginning to end and photograph each step.  If you are interested in me blogging all the photos from it, leave me a note in the comments...  On the background of this paper, I stamped behind the picture with my Hero Arts Lattice Stamp and gold ink.

I painted the camera veneer & splattered the background with the Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Tropicana Teal.  I added a sequin to the center of the camera.  The gold dots are from my Gold Stickles and Gold Viva Pearl Pen.

That gorgeous flair is from The Paper Bakery.

I hand cut the edge of the little boy journal card with my Xacto knife.

For the title I used some wood veneer from Freckled Fawn and Studio Calico, Inked them in gold, then put a layer of Glossy Accents on the top to make them shiny!

Thanks for taking the time to check out my work!! I would love to see your work too....leave me a link to your blog or online gallery so I can leave you some love too!!!
