Strange Love

Thanks for stopping by!  Today I have a new layout that I created for the Studio Calico Bright Ideas Classroom!  The Challenge was "Colour Pop" ... pair a neutral and a colour together!

Here is a close up

For the speech bubble, I used a stamp and Staz On Ink and stamped on vellum, then I hand cut it and then stuck it down with a foam dot.

I did the same thing with the helicopter and heart....The red grid background is a piece of vellum, and a grid stamp that I stamped with a versamark stamp pad, then sprinkled with Zing Rouge Embossing Powder, and heat embossed it. I did the same technique with the gold polka dots at the top. I used Zing Gold Metallic for that one.

The word Love was made with Raw Chipboard Thickers, and painted with Mister Huey's Peppermint, then I put Glossy Accents over it.

  2. Love all this red, particularly for Valentines! Love the stamping on vellum too! I still have that plane brad and have not found a good use for it yet! This is perfect!
