My New Workspace

Good Morning everyone! Happy Thanksgiving! Today I am going to share with you my current workspace. I moved from my scrapbook room to the main family room during the summer to allow my youngest son to have his own room...I purged, junked, sold, tossed out & gave away so much stuff.......You can see from my old workspace how much I got rid of!  It was absolutely disgusting the amount of crap I had and was never going to use!  Once I joined Studio Calico 15 months ago, I finally found my niche in the scrapbooking world and gave myself permission to say - I'll never use all this!  I find the clutter and sheer amount of product was holding me back scrapbook....Now I have a purge/sell box under my desk...as I finish up a kit, I add to it so that it build up again!

Here is my workspace....it is the back wall of one of my 3 living/family rooms.
This is located on the main floor just off the kitchen/dining room with huge windows on
either side allowing me to keep my eye on the boys in the back yard

A rainbow of pretty things

My Desk....I must mention that under my desk does not look like this anymore....I have cleaned it up.  I the center part under my desk are my Studio Calico Kits and in the iris boxes on either side are collections for different companies (MME, OA, EP, Crate)

This is behind my desk on the opposite wall.  Here are some of my albums, stamps, inks etc.

My  Studio Calico Stamps
(Since this picture I have sold at least half of them)

This is where I put my current kit that I am working on
Top Shelf - Papers
2nd Shelf - Alphas
3rd Shelf - Embellies
4th Shelf - finished layouts

  5. Looks great! I agree, sometimes too much stuff can really get in the way of your creativity. I love all your zings and glitters on display. I need to do that so I use them more! Plus it looks pretty!

  9. It looks really nice... I see you have your Silhouette Cameo, I really am enjoying mines so far. I think I'm going to need to order another mate soon. Becuase it losing it sitckness so had to use some dutch tape I had to hold my paper down. I went to Wal Mart today to see if they had any Silhouette mats they didn't they had a lot of Cricut Mats but not Silhouette. I did pick up Cricut tool kit to help take off paper and clean my mats a bit better. I figure the Cricut tools and the Silhouette tools were one and the same just different name brands.

  12. I really like the shelving system that you use for your current SC kit. Just wondering when you get add ons do you combine all the papers and embellishments on to the shelves or do you keep your add ons separate when you're scrapping? I think I need to get a system like this. I unpacked my kit and add ons the other day and am feeling a little overwhelmed now! ; )

  13. It is very inspiring to see others scrap spaces so thank you for sharing how you organise yours. It's a shame the Studio Calico kits cost so much to ship out here. I would love to subscribe.
