Today I wanted to share with you a simple technique that adds texture and dimension to your layout.

First I take my patterned paper and cut it into even strips. Next I adhere it on some cardstock. Then I use my fingers and roll up the edge of each strip. |

Because my background is so bold and busy, I opted for a simple title and painted the colour resist Alphas with watercolour paint. |

Have I mentioned how glad I am that rub ons are making a comeback, and in gold!!! |

I painted my veneer hearts with watercolour paint, to somewhat match the colour paper they were sitting on. |
