Crazy Curls and a Sketch!

Happy Friday Everyone!
Today I wanted to share with  you a layout
using a sketch I created for Come On Get Crafty

I designed the sketch 8.5x11 but created my layout 12x12.
I used lots of layers, using vellum, doilies, washi and more.

I added lots of little bits from my stash like sequins, enamel dots, jewels and resin flowers

right now I am in love with shipping tags, and it was perfect addition to the to corner of my layout to layer lots of little things on!

To see even more amazing inspiration head over to the Come On Get Crafty blog and see our Design Teams take on this sketch!!!

Monster Jam

Here is a layout I created last month for Come On Get Crafty, that I haven't posted here yet.  The challenge was to mix old & new products together and here is what I came up with.

Thanks for looking!

April Sketch

Today I want to share with you the sketch
I created for Come On Get Crafty!
And here is my take on the sketch.

I added lots of strips of Crepe Paper and Vellum for texture.

lots of chipboard and stamping....
my layout would not be complete with out some ink splatters, gems and stitching :)

Mix & Match Maggie Holmes Collections

Today I want to share with you a layout I created using just Maggie Holmes products from the Open Book Collection & the Flea Market Collection.  I love how these 2 collections work so well together!
I used a page from my 6x6 paper pad, that was all "book spines" and cut them apart.  Next I used hot glue to adhere them, then lifted the edges of each strip to give the layout some dimension. I also used the Open Book Dies to cut out that gorgeous dear head!
Next I layered lots of stickers, labels & floral ephemera
I used the Floral Embossing Folder on the white cardstock, and I used the Die's again to cut out the title.
I love mix & matching collections from the same companies!
