Some Scrapbook Inspiration

Well the kids are fast asleep, the hubby is still working out in the bush (should be home by next week!) and I'm sitting back enjoying the silence drinking a Palm Bay Cooler, while searching the internet for some Scrapbook Inspiration.  Here is what caught my attention:

I absolutely love the colours and the pattern

here. I think this would be an amazing paper

or even a stamp, then heat embossed with some

Zing embossing powder! 

I love the colour combinations here

and I also love the pattern.  This would

make a great embossing folder.

If I could crochet, I would make these

stars and use them on a layout

I think this font is amazing and

would love to have it as a stamp set.

I think this would be the cutest 

stamp ever! Imagine this stamped 

over the top of a photo!

Paper Crafts

Once again, as I sit here on my laptop, searching the wonderful world of Pinterest, I have come across some super cute paper crafting ideas that I think I need to try!  

I think these would look awesome made with halloween

paper and hanging in my front window.

Absolutely love these stars! These would be

fun to make for Christmas and hang them

all around the house!

And how can you not love this? This would

be perfect hanging on my front door!

I would really like to make this garland

to put on my christmas tree this year!

My Studio Calico Ordered Arrived!

So, as I have said before, I am completely smitten with Studio Calico.  I was especially excited for this months kit Glee to arrive because the guest designer is Amy Tan aka (amy tangerine), and she designed all kinds of exclusives for this kit!  Also, Lisa over at Studio Calico wanted us to take photos of our kits when they arrived and how we unpack them! So, here goes...(please note, I usually open with a glass of Rye, but as it was early when it arrived, I opted for my trusty sidekick - the pot of coffee!)

 Here it is! There is music playing in my head as I give thanks for

my new box of goodies!

 Oh the excitement! I have butterflies in my stomach

 I carefully unload all the packages out of the box!

The suspense is building! Which bag do I open first?

 I opted to open the "Extras" first! And let me say, 

I'm in love! Especially with those cute butterflies

TaDa!!!!! Here it is! My fabulous order all spread out

for all to see!  Now I must quickly pack it back up, (as the kids are up)

but later tonight, when the house is silent, and everyone is sleeping,

I will pull it all back out again, and just stare at it!  From here I start putting

ideas in my head as to what works well together, colour combos, etc.

Crochet

I wanted to share with you some beautiful crochet items that I found on Pinterest! I am so inspired by the patterns, textures, colours & designs of these items.  I really would love to learn how to crochet, so I could replicate some of these items :) .  I would love to hear any advice or tips from any fellow "crocheters" out there!
