Creating Cards

Happy Saturday!! Danielle here today to share 4 Cards with you that I created using the Big Splash Daily Diary Kit from Noel Mignon.

For the first card, I ruffled and stitched some of the gorgeous ombre sheer ribbon that was include in the kit, to look like a wave at the top of the card. I thought it paired perfect with the beach scene paper.

For my second card I created a birthday one. I love the Heidi Swapp stamp set that was included this month. That bottle cap paper is one of my favourites, and I paired it with some yellow trim from my stash.

My third card I stitched on the entire sheet of Jenni Bowlin Yellow Alpha Stickers. I love that large pop of yellow with the letters as the background. Next I layered some paper scraps and project life cards, then finished it off with some turquoise trim from my stash.

My fourth card, I pieced together some scraps of paper and stitched on some yellow trim. Next I cut out the cute beach chair from one of the papers and hot glued it over the ruffle. I finished it off by using the stamp set with black Versafine Ink.

Project Life Week 21 2018

Happy Saturday!!
I am here with a new project using
the BIG SPLASH DAILY DIARY KIT from Noel Mignon.

There are so many fun pieces in this kit. I did a lot of cutting and stitching things together to give my cards more of a custom feel.

I love the pops of blue, pink and yellow in this kit. Its perfect for summer projects!

I fussy cut the bright floral cluster that said "sunny memories" from the packaging of the Pretty Little Studio Clear Alpha stickers.

I added some Stickles to the sun card to give it a bit of sparkle.

and here are a few more close ups.

Poolside

Happy Saturday! Today I have a new layout using the new June Daily Dairy Kit - Big Splash from Noel Mignon

I just happened to have the same stencil that was in the Big Splash Classic Kit. I decided to colour it with the Mermaid Lagoon Distress Marker from the Daily Diary Kit, mist it with water, then flip it over and press down on some white cardstock to give the background a nice watery look.

I used the cute star sequin stamp from the Heidi Swapp set, and a mix of different blue inks from my stash, and stamped randomly around my background.

I stitched some of the Maya Road Sheer Blue Ribbon in a ruffle to mimic waves, then layered the Fancy Pants Die Cuts.

I layered lots of bits from the kit around the page.

Next I used a piece of the 6x6 Carta Bella Paper and stitched it to the top corner of they layout, then ripped away the white cardstock to reveal the pattern

The clear Heidi Swapp flamingo sticker was the perfect finishing touch to this layout!

Adventure

Happy Canadian long weekend everyone!!!
Today I want to share with you a new mixed media layout using the

I had so much fun creating this layout. I started with the Kraft cardstock, and added some white gesso to the background. Once that dried, I splattered some Distress Spray in Blueprint Sketch.

Next I chose a handful of different pattern papers, and several circle punches, and started creating a layered circle pattern on my background. Once I had the circles glued into place, I stitched through some of them with some turquoise thread.

Next up I grabbed my Jane Davenport Coloured Pencils and coloured around every circle to add another pop of colour. I added some of the cork circle pieces, but lightened them up a bit with a White Gelato from my stash.

I used the Crate Paper Here and There roller stamp and a handful of different coloured inks and stamped phrases all over the background.

To complete this layout I trimmed my page, and used my "Notebook" punch on the edges, then layered it on some yellow cardstock and stitched a messy border.

I hope this inspired you to dig into your paper punches and create something new!
